PLAYDAY DEFINITIONS

BLIND 5 (S TROKE P LAY ) Golf Shop selects 5 holes to count for total score – less ½ handicap.

CASINO GOLF (S TROKE P LAY ) The team score is determined by the roll of the die. Each player will have a number (2,3,4,5). If the die ends up on one of those numbers, the team score is the score of that player. DROP-OUT SCRAMBLE This is scramble play, but the golfer whose ball is used on each shot must sit out the next shot until you reach the green. Everyone putts. ECLECTIC/MEMBER-MEMBER This is a two-day tournament. The first day, the gross score is posted on the scorecard. The second day, only the improved score, hole by hole is posted. Pick up if no improvement is made.

EVENS (S TROKE P LAY ) Count only the even numbered holes less ½ handicap. Stroke Play. (2,4,6,8) or (10,12,14,16,18)

HO HO HO (Stroke Play) Each player is given a Christmas identity. Such as, Santa, Christmas Tree, Reindeer or Candy Cane. After you have played a hole, you will not know which scores to count for the team score until the next tee box where you will identify which players to use. There will be two scores used together at each hold for the team score. LAUREL & HARDY (S TROKE P LAY ) Use the 2 longest holes on the course and the 2 shortest holes. Total your scores on these holes and subtract ½ of your handicap.

ODDS (S TROKE P LAY ) Count only the odd numbered holes less ½ handicap. Stroke Play. (1,3,5,7,9) or (11,13,15,17)

O.N.E.S (S TROKE P LAY ) Count holes starting with letters O.N.E.S. One-half handicap is used.

PINK LADY (S TROKE P LAY ) Each foursome is given a pink golf ball, the “Pink Lady.” On each hole, one player of the foursome is designated the Pink Lady. The designated player will rotate throughout the round skipping hole #15. Scoring will be the best net score of the foursome as well as the “Pink Lady” score. On hole #5 and #15, the “Pink Lady” automatically gets 0 (Zero).

PRO PICK (S TROKE P LAY ) Stroke play, Golf Shop to throw out 3 (three) holes of their choice, less ½ handicap.

PARTNER’S BETTER BALL (S TROKE P LAY ) Players are paired in two-lady teams and the better ball on each hole is the team score, less ½ handicap.

Both players drive and select which ball to play, continue best ball shots until holed out. PUTTS ONLY (S TROKE P LAY ) This will be regular stroke play with the game and sweeps going to the lowest number of putts.

STROKE PLAY This is low gross and low net.
